Weather Report

The weather has been all over the place lately, from gales and thunderstorms to almost unbearable heat. Audrey is very confused and keeps looking at us like she's not sure why we keep playing around with the temperature, but can we make our minds up already.

We had our first doctor appointment, the 6 week health check. Audrey did well, her hips are fine (there's some concern with breech babies) and she's generally doing great. Here she is wrapped up warm for the doctor visit. She looks scared - doctors are clearly frightening! I dread to think what look she'll have on her face when we go next week for her first round of vaccinations.

She still travels around a lot in the sling, and we wear her in it in the house as it helps her to sleep when she's feeling unsettled. She especially likes it when Ian sings to her while she's in there, and falls asleep almost instantly.

The weather started to get warmer, and we went to see our friends at the breastfeeding cafe at the library. We like the library.

Then yesterday the weather suddenly became gloriously hot and sunny, so we went with Cori for a walk in the park.

We stayed in the shade, but she seemed to really enjoy the grass and trees and leaves all around. It was such a lovely day.
