Friends

Audrey had her friend Kitty round to play the other weekend, while Kitty's parents were busy moving house. It was great fun, and a very interesting glimpse at life with more than one little person for me and Ian!

Audrey was VERY unsure about waking up from her nap to find she'd been "replaced", and for a while she cried whenever Kitty went anywhere near her. Otherwise she watched her sullenly from afar, yelling "no no no" if Kitty picked up anything Audrey didn't think she was supposed to.

Gradually, though, she came round enough to share her snack with Kitty.

Unlike Audrey, Kitty was an absolute sweetheart the whole time. Sharing, being gentle, and always so smiley and happy.

They managed to sit together on the sofa to watch Trotro...

...where Hug Bear helped us to keep the peace.

It's lovely to see her interacting with her little friends (even when she's grumpy!). She's growing up so much <3
