Audrey has a new baby cousin! Welcome to the world, baby Euan - and congratulations to Drew and Karen, and new big brother Rory!
The day before Euan made his grand entrance to the world, we went on an adventure with Uncle David and Aunty Katy to Deep Sea World.
We tested out our new light weight buggy - we decided we needed something easily collapsed and very light to take on buses etc. and it seems to work very well.
Audrey was very amazed by all the beautiful fish.
There was lots of pointing and many "oooh" moments.
And I can't really blame her, some of the fish and sea creatures were amazing to see. I loved the sea horses, the seals, and these little Nemos.
Audrey was a little bored by the reptiles, who weren't as quick and brightly coloured as the fish, but I thought this little guy was very impressive.
And the poison frogs were really beautiful too.
She spent the entire day with this cute serious/amazed look on her face. Deep Sea World is serious business!
Her absolute favourite bit was the shark tunnel - a big glass walkway through the shark tank where you can see the sharks and rays and other big fish swimming all about you.
She was very quiet, except for the occasional soft "Oooh!" when a shark passed overhead.
Such a wonderful day, made even sweeter when the following morning we had news of precious baby Euan's safe arrival. Brilliant weekend.
