On the Thursday of last week we all went into town so that the visitors could see some of the city. Ian had the day off work, and we started the day with a trip up the Royal Mile, with a stop at Chocolate Soup for some serious hot chocolate. The weather was awful, lots and lots of rain, so the warm chocolate was very welcome.
It was wonderful spending time with Nana and Grandad Plummer, and with Aunty Laura, Sophie and Amy. There are some serious chocoholics in our family.
The hot chocolate was as big as Audrey's head! The way she stared at it was so adorably funny.
We went on to the Camera Obscura, a tower by the castle full of optical illusions and other similar exhibitions, with a camera obscura at the top with which you can see across the city.
We all enjoyed having fun with the exhibits.
Then it was back to the hotel to get warm and dry...
... and out to dinner with Nana B and Grandad Pop!
What a beautiful day Audrey Bea.
