Uncle David

When Audrey first met Uncle David, she was a very little baby and thought he was really pretty scary. This feeling seemed to continue no matter how sweet and wonderful Uncle David was, and grew to be a bit of a joke among us.

But recently something clicked all of a sudden for Audrey, and on one visit about a week ago she decided that Uncle David was the best thing since sliced bread and there was no way he was allowed to be out of her sight for even a MINUTE or she would cry and call out "Day-bid Day-bid!" pitifully until he came back.

He gave her a big hug and she rested her head against him and just about went to sleep.

Since then she STILL asks for Uncle "Day-bid" on a regular basis, and says "Love Day-bid" several times a day.

It took a while, but Uncle David definitely has a big (tiny) fan now in the form of Audrey Bea.
